The Mongolian Cultural Days “Buuvei” is an intercultural, artistic, and educational event designed to introduce European audiences to the richness and diversity of Mongolia’s cultural heritage.

WHY

In Mongolian, “buuvei” means a lullaby. The name reflects the very spirit of the project.

In a world marked by tensions, rapid change, and uncertainty, “Buuvei” offers a space for encounter, listening, and meaningful exchange.

Like a gentle lullaby that soothes and brings people together, the event seeks to nurture kindness, curiosity, and dialogue across cultures.

Who is Buuvei for?

Everyone — families, students, researchers, and the simply curious. No prior knowledge of Mongolia needed.

What language are activities in?

Primarily French, with Mongolian performances; English support available on request.

Is it suitable for children?

Yes — yurt building from age 5, shagai games from age 4–6, animation screening from age 8.

Where exactly is the venue?

The Swiss venue will be announced soon; the tour then continues to France and Belgium.

Can schools or institutions book interventions?

Yes — formats are modular, from a single workshop to a full program. Contact us.

Will there be Mongolian food?
